Problem

SPORTSBLOG.COM was not leveraging digital marketing/social media to accomplish two things: 1) Amplify and aide in the growth of their bloggers communities 2) expand upon their community by driving leads for new blogger sign ups.

Solution

jeffandvaden developed an online marketing strategy that curated their blogger's content with the goal of expanding their blogger's community as well as their own. A combination of social advertising and social monitoring were leveraged to drive new blogger sign ups.

A social contest strategy was developed for a partnership between sportsblog.com and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) to reach WNBA sports fans and encourage content creation for the league.

Result

Within 3 months of the executed online marketing strategy Sportsblog.com experienced 170% increase in web traffic. New blogger leads/signups grew as a result of social monitoring.

Content curation of their blogger’s content has significantly grown the communities of many users of the platform. They continue to see growth across all online metrics.
